The present invention relates to a gas range flame adjustment device and, as a flame adjustment device for adjusting the flame of a gas range, comprises: a container detection unit comprising a transmission unit for transmitting an ultrasound wave toward a cooking container and a reception unit for receiving the ultrasound wave reflected after hitting the cooking container; a control unit for determining whether the cooking container is in a state in which a burner of the gas range is in proximity thereto by receiving transmission and reception information of the ultrasound wave from the container detection unit; and a flame adjustment unit for adjusting an amount of fuel to be supplied to the gas range, according to a signal of the control unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, there are effects of enabling the adjustment of an amount of fuel to be supplied to the gas range and the reduction of an amount of fuel to be consumed during cooking by detecting whether the cooking container is in proximity to the burner of the gas range and a use state of the cooking container through the container detection unit, and then by controlling the control unit and the flame adjustment unit according to the transmission and reception information of the ultrasound wave delivered through the container detection unit. |
