摘要 An objective of the present invention is to reduce a decline in gas diffusivity at a time when a fuel cell is put into operation in a low-temperature environment. A fuel cell operation control method includes: a step of acquiring a temperature at a time of a start of the fuel cell; a step of acquiring the current temperature of the fuel cell; a step of setting the current target operation point of the fuel cell identified by an output voltage value and an output current value of the fuel cell based on the temperature at a time of a start or based on the temperature at a time of a start and the current temperature; and a step of controlling one or both of the flow rate of a reaction gas and an output voltage of the fuel cell so that an operation point of the fuel cell becomes the target operation point, in which the target operation point setting step includes a step of setting as the target operation point an operation point of the output voltage value lower when the temperature at a time of a start is low than when the temperature at a time of a start is high at the same current temperature.
