The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for handling a single radio voice call continuity handover which is capable of controlling a single radio voice call continuity handover between an electronic device and an IMS server. A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication system includes the steps of: determining whether a voice session between an electronic device and an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) is initiated by a program related to WebRTC (Web Real Time Communication) of the electronic device; and transmitting, to a serving base station of the electronic device, information about whether a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) handover is applicable to the voice session based on whether the voice session is initiated by the program related to the WebRTC (Web Real Time Communication) of the electronic device.
