<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method and air conditioning system using a desiccant rotor, which are extremely advantageous in initial cost and running cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioning method for totally exchanging heat between external air and indoor circulated air by a total heat exchanger and supplying the totally heat-exchanged external air into a room, the external air is directly introduced into the total heat exchanger, and the circulated air is dehumidified or humidified by the desiccant rotor prior to introduction to the total heat exchanger. To attain this method, the air conditioning system includes an air supply passage for taking and supplying the external air into the room; an air discharge passage for discharging the indoor circulated air out of the system; the total heat exchanger having a rotor for performing heat storage and moisture absorption on the air supply passage side and performing heat release and moisture release on the air discharge passage side; and the desiccant rotor disposed in the middle of the discharge passage to preliminarily dehumidify the circulated air prior to its passage to the total heat exchanger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
