Process to reduce row or line correlated noise in digital image sensor

The image detected by the sensor (4) signal is filtered to identify a high pass filter image and a low pass filter image. A line referenced and a column referenced convolution of each signal from the high pass filter image and a line referenced correction value is determined. The single pixel referenced signals of the high pass filter image are corrected with the correction values by computational concatenation. The noise reduced image is reconstructed by computational concatenation of the corrected high pass filter image with the low pass filter image.
