Disclosed are a control method of an infusion measuring instrument, which accurately determines the completion point of administration of an infusion; and the infusion measuring instrument using a weight measuring method. Provided is the control method of the infusion measuring instrument, which comprises the following steps: prestoring information on the size of an infusion container classified according to the weight of the infusion container which holds an infusion, and information on the weight of the infusion determined according to the information on the size of the infusion container; measuring the weight of the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered, determining the size of the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered according to the information on the size of the infusion container which corresponds to the relevant weight, and calculating the weight of the infusion to be administered according to the information on the weight of the infusion which corresponds to the size of the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered; and measuring the weight when an infusion set is connected to the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered, determining, as a critical value, a value obtained by subtracting the weight of the infusion to be administered from the weight of the infusion set connected to the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered, comparing the weight of the infusion set connected to the infusion container which holds the infusion to be administered and the critical value to determine the completion of administration of the infusion to be administered, and performing alarm warning.
