PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film that can be used as a polarizing plate protective film capable of suppressing degradation in a polarizing performance at high temperature and high humidity even in a thin film state, and to provide a polarizing plate protective film, a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film comprises cellulose acylate, a compound (a) having an iodine intake reduction index of 0.28 or less and a molar extinction coefficient of 3000 or less in a wavelength range from 300 nm to 700 nm, and an organic acid having an acid dissociation constant of 3 or more and 10 or less; and the film has a film thickness of 5 μm or more and 60 μm or less. |
