摘要 The present invention relates to an integrated circuit (IC) card reader provided with a hacking prevention device capable of protecting card information from hacking by operating a security mode if the card reader is disassembled for a hacking tool to be inserted from the outside into the card reader and read the card information. In the prior art, an FPCB having a conductive mesh layer on the entire front surface of an IC card socket installed on a printed circuit board (PCB) is provided in order to prevent such a hacking attack. According to a method of making the FPCB having the conductive mesh layer, the entire front surface of the IC card socket should be covered by the FPCB having the conductive mesh layer, so the making process is complicated and production costs rise. According to the present invention, two PCBs having conductive mesh layers are provided at upper and lower parts of an IC card socket, into which an IC card is inserted, a silicon bar forming conductive carbon of a specific size is arranged along the IC card socket between the dual PCB, and the PCBs and the silicon bar are electrically connected, wherein a security operation is performed if it is determined that a hacking attack exists depending on whether the electrical connection is open or not. Thus, the manufacturing process for the IC card reader provided with the hacking prevention device is simpler and effective hacking prevention can be expected.
