Disclosed are a variable cooling channel system of an LDC/inverter assembly for an electric vehicle and a cooling method thereof. The variable cooling channel system of an LDC/inverter assembly for an electric vehicle is partitioned, by a partition wall, into a first cooling requiring part for cooling the LDC and a second cooling requiring part for cooling the inverter in the LDC/inverter assembly installed in the electric vehicle, and comprises: a first temperature detecting unit configured to detect a first temperature (T1) around a position where the LDC is installed; a second temperature detecting unit configured to detect a second temperature (T2) around a position where the inverter is installed; a variable valve unit configured to control a flow quantity of cooling water flowing in the first cooling requiring part and the second cooling requiring part; and a variable valve control unit configured to control an opening degree of the variable valve unit based on the first temperature, the second temperature, and temperature limits preset in the first and second cooling requiring parts. |
