The present invention relates to a movable organic light emitting diode (OLED) scanner. The scanner comprises: a flat panel type scanner main body having a window made of a light transmitting material on one side thereof; a light emitting unit which is embedded in the scanner main body and emits light toward an object to be scanned; a light receiving unit which receives light reflected from the object to be scanned; and an image processing unit which analyzes an electrical signal outputted from the light receiving unit to acquire an image. In the meantime, the light emitting unit includes an organic light emitting diode, the light receiving unit includes a photodiode, and a circuit of the light emitting unit and a circuit of the light receiving unit are characterized in being formed together within one pixel of the scanner main body which includes a plurality of pixels. Since the scanner is made to be ultrathin, it is possible for a user to hold the scanner main body in a hand and put the scanner main body between pages of a book while scanning the book. Therefore, it is possible to scan the book easily without incurring damages to a page during a scan process. Also, an image distortion due to movement can be minimized since the scanner main body can be maintained stationary while scanning an arbitrary object to be scanned other than books. |
