The present invention relates to a beacon device and a method for providing various information by recognizing the position of a road sign and a method for operating the same. The beacon device of the present invention comprises: a plurality of beacon devices installed in road structures such as street lamps or buildings and having GPS coordinates; a detection device installed in a mobile terminal to recognize a position value between at least two of the beacon devices; and a thread device installed in the mobile terminal to output a message window, which is capable of input and correction, to a display panel of the mobile terminal in the form of an application when the detection device completes the recognition of the position value. The beacon device of the present invention enables the acquisition of information of the road structures and mutual information exchange. |
