<p>PURPOSE:To provide high water leakage preventing performance by a method wherein a water impermeable sleeve and a sheetform base arranged inside the sleeve are provided, a base is provided with a fixing means for maintaining the base when the base is expanded, and has approximately the same length in an axial direction as that of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A covering body 10 is arranged in a pipe 38. The covering body 10 comprises a sleeve 12 which is water-impermeable and resiliently deformable and provided on its outer peripheral surface with resiliently deformable protrusion parts 18, 20, 22, and 24 and a base 14 which is positioned inside the sleeve 12 and sheetform having length in an axial direction longer than a distance between the outer ends of the protrusion parts and has engaging parts 26 and 28 of a fixing means maintaining the base 14 in a cylindrical shape when it is expanded. The covering body 10 is arranged in a pipe 38, the base 14 is expanded through deformation of the sleeve 12 until the protrusion parts 18, 20, 22, and 24 are resiliently deformed, and is fixed. This constitution provides high water leakage preventing performance.</p> |
