An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for making ice which has a sturdy support structure for supporting a refrigerant circulator on an ice making drum. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for making ice comprises: a basket to store a fluid; an ice making drum installed to be immersed in the basket to a prescribed depth, in which a refrigerant is sprayed; and a drive unit to rotate the ice making drum. The ice making drum comprises: a refrigerant circulator inserted into the ice making drum from one side wall of the ice making drum, wherein a refrigerant supply pipe and a refrigerant exhaust pipe are inserted thereinto to spurt the refrigerant into the ice making drum; a coupling shaft which is inserted into the ice making drum from the one side wall of the ice making drum, and supports the refrigerant circulator; and a sealing unit which mounts the coupling shaft and the ice making drum, and is filled with oil. |
