An apparatus may include a memory device configured to store instructions, and a processing device that, in response to executing the instructions stored in the memory device, may be configured to perform operations. The operations may include identifying a first set of search results associated with a first user and identifying a second set of search results associated with a second user. The first set of search results may be compared with the second set of search results, and the second set of search results may be modified based, at least in part, on the comparison. The processing device may be configured to generate a modified version of the second set of search results that is displayed to the second user.

1. A method, comprising:
identifying, by a collaboration processing device, a first set of search results for a search initiated by a first user with a first search request received by a user processing device different from the collaboration processing device; receiving, by the collaboration processing device, a second search request initiated by a second user different from the first user; identifying, by the collaboration processing device, a second set of search results based, at least in part, on the search request initiated by the second user; comparing, by the collaboration processing device, the first set of search results with the second set of search results to identify a selected feature corresponding to at least one search result in the first or second sets of search results; modifying, by the collaboration processing device, the second set of search results based, at least in part, on the selected feature identified in said comparing, to generate a modified version of the second set of search results comprising the at least one search result and the selected feature that is displayed to the second user in response to receiving the search request; and distinguishing display of the first set of search results in the modified version of the second set of search results that have been previously accessed by the first user from the first set of search results in the modified version of the second set of search results that have not been previously accessed by the first user.
