The present invention relates to a method for allocating an identifier of a beacon device based on a low-power Bluetooth protocol and a system for performing the method. The method includes: a step of requesting to allocate an identifier value in which a request for the identifier value for setting the identifier value of the beacon device is transmitted to a beacon device identifier management server via a data communication terminal which is capable of accessing a data communication network; a step of providing the identifier value in which the beacon device identifier management server which has received the request for allocating the identifier value provides the identifier value to the data communication terminal; and a step of setting the identifier value in which the data communication terminal which has been provided with the identifier value sets the identifier value of the beacon device by providing the beacon device the identifier value of which is to be set with the identifier value. The present invention provides: an effect of managing beacon device identifier value issuance by using the beacon device management server; an effect of easily allocating the identifier value of the beacon device to a user of the beacon device via the data communication terminal such as smartphones and setting the identifier value of the beacon device; an effect of forestalling a possibility that a problem might occur due to an identifier value mismatch between the beacon device and other devices by managing the identifier value by using the beacon device identifier management server; and an effect of simplifying the manufacturing process in manufacturing the beacon device by removing such processes as allocating the identifier value to each of the beacon devices, setting the identifier value of each of the beacon devices, labelling each of the beacon devices with the identifier value, etc. |
