PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system or the like, configured to flexibly cause a device with gateway function to enter power-saving mode, in accordance with a state of use of a user.SOLUTION: A device with gateway function 2 confirms whether an external device 4 using the device has logged in to a cloud server 1 when mode transition means 204 causes the device to enter power-saving mode, and confirms whether printers 31-33 are in the power-saving mode, to determine whether the device is being frequently accessed from the cloud server and the printers, on the basis of access history stored in storage means 202. In the case where the external device using the device with gateway function is not logged in to the cloud server, and the printer is in the power-saving mode, and when the determination means determines that the device is not being accessed frequently from the cloud server and the printers, the device enters the power-saving mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
