PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of suppressing excessive humidification without making a user feel discomfort.SOLUTION: A humidifier includes: a main body having a suction opening 15 and supply openings 21, 32; a water supply tank 41 for storing water; humidification means having a heater 72 for heating the water supplied from the water supply tank 41, and a storage portion 71a for storing the water heated by the heater 72; a blower fan 62 sucking the indoor air from the suction opening 15, and generating airflow to blow out the air humidified by the humidification means indoors substantially in a horizontal direction from the supply openings 21, 32; and control means 100 for controlling energization to the heater 72 and energization to a motor 62a for driving the blower fan 62. The control means 100 intermittently implements the energization to the heater 72 and the energization to the motor 62a, and stops the energization to the motor 62a after the lapse of a first time from the stop of the energization to the heater 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
