The objective of the present invention is to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device and an ultrasonic diagnostic method capable of selecting texture corresponding to an object included in an ultrasonic three dimensional image for texture mapping. The ultrasonic diagnostic device comprises the following: a control unit for recognizing an object included in an ultrasonic image and for searching information about at least one texture corresponding to the recognized object; a display unit for displaying the ultrasonic image and searched texture information; a user interface unit for receiving an input for selecting information about at least one texture among the searched information; and an image processing unit for texture mapping the selected texture information in at least one area included in the ultrasonic image of the object.
