The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a button for a vehicle. An object of the present invention is to provide the method for manufacturing a button for a vehicle which can simplify the manufacturing process, and reduce the number of manufacturing processes, the number of processing operations and manufacturing costs when the button including an appearance part made of metal material ands a base part made of synthetic resins is manufactured. To achieve the object, provided is the method for manufacturing a button for a vehicle, which includes: a metal-powder injection molding step of manufacturing an appearance part firing member having a shape to have a groove for forming a display part on an inner surface through molding by injecting metal powder into a mold and firing the powder; a resin injection molding step of forming the base part by injecting a melting resin material into an inner surface of the appearance part in the mold; and a displaying step of processing an outer side surface of the appearance part coupled to the base part to form a hole as the groove part such that the light passing through the hole and the base part from a light source represents a letter, a picture and a sign. |
