PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader capable of obtaining an image enlarged at a magnification that a user desires while the size of the image enlarged at the magnification that the user desires can be intuitively imaged for an image of the document, and an image formation apparatus with the same.SOLUTION: A scanner part (102A) comprising a document size detection means (102A2), a document read part (102A1), and a scanner control part (102A3) having magnification varying means (102A31) of enlarging a document image to a predetermined magnification comprises a marker (102A4) arranged on a document platen (102C) to specify a size of a recording medium or a size of an image to be output. The document read part (102A1) comprises marker detection means (102A5) for detecting the marker (102A4) on the document platen (102C), and when the image of the document is read, the marker detection means (102A5) detects a position of the marker (102A4) at the same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
