PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suggest an effective lens cleaning device of an automobile camera.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 1 for cleaning a lens 8 of an automobile camera 2 is configured so that the lens captures images along a longitudinal direction optical axis and includes a cleaning head 4 which is disposed at a position fixed to the camera 2 and has an annular whole shape coaxial with an axis of the lens. The cleaning head 4 includes an annular inner wall which is disposed at the rear side of the lens along the optical axis and supports cleaning means directed to the lens. The annular inner wall of the head 4 includes a plurality of nozzles 32 capable of delivering cleaning fluid to the lens 8. The cleaning device can be applied to washing especially for a rear camera which is disposed in a rear part of an automobile and is directed to capture images of a road scene spreading backward of the automobile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
