PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally supply components and to prevent abnormal conditions during supplying by organically providing operational association such as the operation of detection means, holding means or an opposite electrode operation.SOLUTION: The absence of a component 1 is detected in the middle of feeding of a supply member 6, the holding of holding means 10 is released on the basis of this detection signal to supply the component 1 to an electrode 101, the presence of the component 1 in the electrode 101 is detected in the middle of recovering of the supply member 6, and the other electrode 102 is advanced on the basis of this detection signal. On the other hand, when the component 1 is detected to remain in the electrode 101, the supply member 6 is recovered in the continued state of the holding mechanism of the holding means 10, and the other electrode 102 is advanced in the prevented state of overlapped supplying of the component 1 on the basis of the detection signal of component remaining and the holding mechanism continuance signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
