The present invention relates to an up-stream/down-stream nonpoint pollution reduction apparatus. The up-stream/down-stream nonpoint pollution reduction apparatus can selectively use an up-stream filtration method and a down-stream filtration method by control of a control part, and can apply a proper filtration method depending on the condition of the polluted water injected to the apparatus. In the present invention, the apparatus has a backwash part which is located inside a filtration part and has a partition part, thereby exhibiting an excellent effect of backwashing. Moreover, the apparatus can adjust the position of a medium part depending on the type of filtration method, while securing a space for cleaning the inside of the filtration bath even when the filtration bath is formed to be small.
