PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can be improved in crack resistance performance while favourably maintaining air permeation preventing-performance.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has an air permeation preventing layer 11, which is formed of a film of thermoplastic resin or of a thermoplastic elastomer composition produced by blending elastomer into the thermoplastic resin, arranged inside a carcass layer 4, where when a point on an inner face of the air permeation preventing layer 11 corresponding to a position with a width of 10% of the maximum width W of a belt layer 7 from an outermost end part toward inside in a tire width direction of the belt layer 7 is set as P, a point on the inner face of the air permeation preventing layer 11 corresponding to a position with a height of 20% of a height H of a bead filler 6 from a top toward inside in a tire radial direction of the bead filler 6 is set as Q, and a region between the point P and the point Q is set as R, a thickness of the air permeation preventing layer 11 is changed so that a plurality of recessed parts 11a and a plurality of protruding parts 11b are alternately formed on the inner face of the air permeation preventing payer 11, at least in the region R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
