PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a decorative component capable of relatively easily and correctly applying an auxiliary pattern which is conspicuous relative to a main pattern on a desired position.SOLUTION: A production method of decorative components 11, 12 comprises: a water pressure transfer step, an auxiliary pattern formation step, and a clear coat layer formation step. In the water pressure transfer step, a water pressure transfer layer 15 including an ink layer 16 for applying a main pattern 24 is formed on a surface 14 of a component material 21, by a water pressure transfer method. In the auxiliary pattern formation step, part of the ink layer 16 on the water pressure transfer layer 15 is removed to depth reaching the surface 14 of the component material 21 by laser processing. By the processing, an auxiliary pattern 27 having high contrast relative to the main pattern 24 and having a pattern different from the main pattern 24, is formed. In the clear coat layer formation step, a clear coat layer 18 is formed on the water pressure transfer layer 15 on which the auxiliary pattern 27 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
