PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of shortening time required for reception and delivery of a workpiece.SOLUTION: A machine tool includes: a spindle chuck 21 which is provided in a spindle 20 rotating around a shaft so as to hold a workpiece W to be a machining object; a temporary placing chuck 33 which is capable of holding the workpiece W; a blade rest driving section 31 for relatively moving the temporary placing chuck 33 to an opposite position Q1 in which the workpiece W can be mutually received and delivered and a separation position Q2 in which the workpiece W can be respectively and individually received and delivered; and a loader 40 which includes a spindle corresponding workpiece holding section 42 and a temporary placing corresponding workpiece holding section 43, which are disposed to face each of the spindle chuck 21 and the temporary placing chuck 33 located at the separation position Q2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
