PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of branch prediction in a processor capable of executing a plurality of threads.SOLUTION: A compiler device 10 copies a branch instruction 15 in a code 13 and converts the instruction 15 into branch instructions 15 and 16. The compiler device 10 generates a control instruction 17 performing control so that the branch instruction 15 or 16 will be executed according to the threads to be used in a processor 20 capable of executing thread 21 and 22 sharing a storage region 23 storing information used for the branch prediction. The compiler device 10 generates a code 14 including the branch instructions 15 and 16 and the control instruction 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
