PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately process a printing instruction from a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: There is provided a printing system in which a mobile terminal performing a printing instruction and a printer are connected in a communicable manner, and the printer and a server are connected in the communicable manner. A control part of the mobile terminal transmits prescribed data related to printing to the printer. A control part of the printer determines whether or not the prescribed data received from the mobile terminal is data in a format supported by the own device, performs processing in the own device on the basis of the prescribed data in the case where the prescribed data is the data in the format supported by the own device, and requests processing by transmitting the prescribed data to the server in the case where the prescribed data is the data in a format not supported by the own device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
