PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting whether a coke cake rises or not, and determining whether or not to extrude the coke cake before extruding the coke cake.SOLUTION: A method for estimating a rising amount of a coke cake includes: performing an extrusion test of a coke cake for test based on the assumption of a carbonization chamber having unevenness existing in a furnace wall, and determining a relationship between a pressing force and a rising pressure and a relationship between the rising pressure and a rising rate of a surface layer; dividing a furnace wall surface of the carbonization chamber into a plurality of regions in a furnace length direction and in a furnace height direction, determining uneven information of each region, and estimating the pressing force in each of the regions; determining the rising pressure in each of the regions based on the relationship between the pressing force and the rising pressure from the pressing force, and determining a load by the coke cake in the upper layer of each of the regions; determining that the coke cake rises when the rising force is larger than the load in the same region, and determining a rising amount in each of the regions from the relationship between the rising pressure and the rising rate of the surface layer; adding the rising amount to the furnace height direction at each of the division positions in the furnace length direction, and estimating the rising amount in the furnace length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
