Disclosed is a method of scheduling a multicast transmission performed by a central controller included in a wireless LAN system. The method includes: (a) a step in which the central controller receives positional information on each of a plurality of nodes from a plurality of access points (APs) which has a plurality of accessible sectors; (b) a step of allocating each of the nodes to each of the sectors of the APs; (c) a step of determining the number of the nodes allocated to each of the sectors; and (d) a step of selecting, with a time slot as the unit, a transmission sector based on the calculated number of the nodes.
