PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure that can prevent interference between an outer panel and a hinge of a door and favourably secure an appearance.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body structure 10 a sub door 30 is turnably provided in a gate main body 16 through a lower door hinge 25, and an outer surface of the gate main body 16 is formed of a lower gate outer surface member 19. A hinge side end part 39a of a lower outer panel 39 of the sub door 30 is positioned closer to inside of the door than a turning center 79 of the lower door hinge 25. The outer surface of the sub door 30 is formed of a design member 41 made of resin. The design member 41 is separated from the lower gate outer surface member 19 through a lower separation part 83. A design extension part 85 of the design member 41 is extended in a direction of the lower gate outer surface member 19 and in a direction of a vehicle interior 28 from the hinge side end part 41b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
