PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing tar stain at a part where scrubber water applied to coke oven gas purification contacts with, or a composition therefor in one or a plurality of embodiments.SOLUTION: According to one or a plurality of embodiments, a composition added to scrubber water applied to coke oven gas purification to suppress tar stain at a part where the scrubber water contacts contains at least one surfactant selected from a group consisting of water-soluble nonionic surfactant and anionic surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
