PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexing system capable of lossless multiplexing of signal light.SOLUTION: The optical multiplexer wave system comprises: a first polarization control device which converts the polarized light of first input light to first linear polarized light and outputs the first converted light; a second polarization control device which converts the polarized light of second input light different in wavelength from the first input light to second linear polarized light orthogonal to the first linear polarized light and outputs the second converted light; and a PBC which multiplexes the first converted light and the second converted light and outputs output light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
