PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use situation management system allowing a management unit, which manages an option use situation of each numerical control unit, to record and manage not only the time but also the use frequency of the option function.SOLUTION: A use situation management system of the present invention includes plural numerical control units that have an option function and control a machine on the basis of a processing program, and a management unit that manages the option function use situation of each of the numerical control units. The numerical control unit has the function of detecting the use frequency of the option function, producing information concerning the option function use situation, transmitting the information to the management unit, and controlling use of the option function on the basis of the use frequency of the option function. The management unit preserves and manages the information concerning the use situation of each option function, which is received from the numerical control unit, in association with each numerical control unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
