PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide molding composition that has substantially the same level of tensile elastic modulus, fracture strength, tensile strain at a breaking point and linear shrinkage during injection molding as that of a molding composition based on PA66 while having the lowest water absorption and having good impact resistance and notched impact resistance.SOLUTION: A reinforced polyamide molding composition comprises the following components so as to be suitably used as a starting material for the manufacture of a housing for an apparatus in the field of a mobile radio technology in particular: (A) 20 to 45 mass% of an aliphatic polyamide selected from the group consisting of PA610, PA612 and a mixture thereof; (B) 5 to 15 mass% of a semiaromatic polyamide selected from the group consisting of 6I, DI, 6I/6T, DI/DT, DI/6T, MXD6 and a mixture thereof; (C) 45 to 75 mass% of a flat glass fiber having a non-circular cross section (a dimensional ratio of a main cross-sectional axis to a short cross-sectional axis being in the range of 2 to 5); and (D) 0 to 10 mass% of an additive (provided that the components (A) to (D) total up to 100 mass%).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
