PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine driving type work machine capable of shortening a duration time starting from a throttle valve full-closed position to a releasing of an engine speed restriction mode.SOLUTION: An engine driving type work machine [1] of this invention has a control device [18]. The control device [18], under a first idling state, is operated from a time of starting an engine [2], under an engine speed restriction mode in which the engine [2] is prevented from being rotated at a higher engine speed than a clutch-in engine speed and after a throttle valve [16] is fully closed under an operator's work, it is detected that an engine speed varying period of the engine [2] is longer than the engine speed varying period under the first idling state during a time in which the engine [2] finishes the first idling state and transferred to the idling state, and then, the control device [18] releases the engine speed restriction mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
