PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radical polymerizable group-containing silicone compound which is liquid at room temperature and is therefore easily handled, and which has excellent oxygen permeability and reactivity, and production method of the same.SOLUTION: The silicon compound of the present invention is represented by the following formula (1) where A is each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 bivalent hydrocarbon which may have a branched structure, B is each independently a monovalent group composed of organosilicone having a silicon atom number of 2-20, and X is a monovalent group having a radical polymerizable group.
