MAKER FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF GASTRIC CANCER

The present invention relates to a single and/or composite marker of epithelial-derived neutrophil-activating peptide 78/chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 5 (ENA78/CXCL5) or stromal cell-derived factor-1/chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 12 (SDF-1/CXCL12) for diagnosing gastric cancer and analyzing a clinical stage of gastric cancer. A marker for diagnosing gastric cancer or a marker for predicting a clinical stage of gastric cancer according to the present invention has highly improved diagnosis accuracy compared to conventional markers, so the marker may be used not only in diagnosing gastric cancer early but also in providing information related to a clinical stage of gastric cancer. Accordingly, a prognosis of gastric cancer may be predicted by using the same. Consequently, when a marker according to the present invention is used, various pieces of gastric cancer-related information are provided, so it is expected that the marker contributes to an increase in survival rates of gastric cancer patients.
