CORYNEBACTERIUM MICROBIAL CONSORTIA FOR REMEDIATION OF PETROLEUM OIL

The present invention selects and provides a novel microorganism strain having an excellent decomposing ability for weathered petroleum oil. The microorganism is Corynebacterium sp. having a decomposing activity for petroleum oil, and named as KSS-2. The KSS-2 is deposited with Accession No. KCTC 12863BP, gram positive, aerobic, and has an optimum growth temperature of 25-30°C and pH of 6-8.
