Provided is a polymer represented by chemical formula 1 for an organic optoelectronic device. In chemical formula 1, Ar^1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms; Ar^2 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 14 to 20 carbon atoms, and has a higher number of aromatic rings in comparison to Ar^1; each of p and q is an integer of 1 or 2; and n represents degree of polymerization and is determined with respect to the molecular weight.
