PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adsorb many kinds of volatile organic compounds included in an environmental air as a whole by using a porous carbon material, and separate the adsorbed many kinds of volatile organic compounds easily by a solvent extraction method or by a thermal desorption method.SOLUTION: A sampler 1 of volatile organic compounds included in an environmental air includes: an air-permeable container 21 having an opening 22; an adsorbent 10 filled in the air-permeable container 21; and a collector 20 including a first lid 23 for closing the opening 22. In the adsorbent 10, a porous carbon material with the rate of mesopores of 30 to 70%, preferably a porous carbon material with the average pore diameter of 2.0 to 5.0 nm, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
