(Solution) An electric power steering device that computes a current command value and assist-controls a steering system by driving a motor on the basis of the current command value is provided with: a target column angle computation unit (110) that computes a target column angle (θref) on the basis of a steering angle (θh) and vehicle information (VI); and a column angle control unit (120) that computes a current command value (Iref) on the basis of the target column angle (θref) and a detected actual column angle (θ), wherein the column angle is controlled to a value corresponding to the steering angle (θh) and the vehicle information (VI). |
