This turning apparatus (30) is provided with: an electric motor (41); a moving gear (53) capable of moving between a first position for enabling transmission of rotation of the output shaft (43) of the electric motor (41) to a rotor (11), and a second position and a third position which are mutually different positions for disabling transmission of rotation of the output shaft (43) to the rotor (11); a moving mechanism (60) for moving the moving gear (53) between the first position, and the second position and third position; and a control device (61) that on the basis of a retraction signal controls the moving mechanism (60) in such a way as to move the moving gear (53) from the first position to the second position, and on the basis of a sticking-prevention signal controls the moving mechanism (60) in such a way that the moving gear (53) undergoes reciprocating motion between the second position and the third position. |
