SELF CLEANING URINAL SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF

A self cleaning urinal system comprises at least one receptacle, having two openings, connected to at least one urinal, for receiving and discharging fluid respectively. A cover is placed over the receptacle for separating the receptacle from the urinal. A floating body is placed inside the receptacle such that the floating body is capable of floating on the fluid collected in the receptacle, thereby allowing the fluid to discharge through and seal an opening of the receptacle after allowing the fluid to discharge. The system further comprises at least one inlet to receive reactive gases or a reactive agent to eliminate odour or alternatively a reaction chamber to process and discharge the processed fluid that may be used for other purposes. The system may also include a flushing mechanism to cleanse splattered fluid from the urinal.
