PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head that can prevent a nozzle of the inkjet head from being damaged so as to cause a discharge defect, due to contact between the nozzle and a recording medium.SOLUTION: A nozzle guard 22 with a nozzle hole exposed is arranged on a nozzle surface 34 so as to prevent a nozzle from contacting a recording medium. Further a plate 32 is inserted between the nozzle guard and the nozzle surface so as to prevent ink from entering between the nozzle guard and the nozzle surface and reduce amounts of ink overflowing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
