PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade material with an excellent mechanical property and corrosion resistance and which can be sharpened to a small and rigid radius of curvature to 150 Angstrom, and a tool.SOLUTION: A cutting tool 10, which comprises a blade part 30 having a sharpened cutting blade 40 and a body part 20, is made up of a bulk amorphous alloy having a composition represented by the following molecular formula:(Zr,Ti)a(Ni,Cu,Fe)b(Be,Al,Si,B)c(Nb,Cr,V,Co)d where a is 30-75, b is 5-60, c is 0-50, and d is 0-20 at least in one of the blade part 30 and the body part 20 by atom%, the bulk amorphous alloy having an elastic limit of 1.2% or more, and the cutting tool 10 having a thickness 0.5 mm or more at least in a part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
