PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility for imaging means to fail in automatic tracking of a tracking target.SOLUTION: Information indicating a relation between a tracking continuity value indicating a possibility (difficulty) of automatic tracking of a tracking target 102 and a target part is stored. When a tracking continuity value is acquired, a moving amount of pan/tilt is calculated in such a manner that a target part relating to the tracking continuity value is displayed on the center of a screen, a universal head of a PTZ camera 201 is moved just by the calculated moving amount, and an imaging direction of an imaging part 400 is changed. At such a time, a position where a failure of automatic tracking of the tracking target 102 is more unlikely to occur as the tracking continuity value indicates a lower possibility of automatic tracking of the tracking target 102, is determined as a target part. For example, in the case where the imaging part 400 is installed vertically downwards at a position higher than the tracking target 102, as the tracking continuity value indicates a lower possibility of automatic tracking of the tracking target 102, a lower position within the tracking target 102 is determined as the target part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
