PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DCDC converter failure diagnosis device and failure diagnosis method capable of reducing the number of components, and detecting a failure at low costs.SOLUTION: A DCDC converter failure diagnosis device 100 includes: a voltage detection part 110 for detecting the failure of a converter part 11; and a diagnosis part 120. The voltage detection part 110 detects the drain voltage or source voltage of each FET 12, and outputs the detected drain voltage or source voltage to the diagnosis part 120. The diagnosis part 120 diagnoses the drain voltage or source voltage of each FET 12, and detects the failure of the FET 12 and the converter part 11 having the failure FET 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
