Embodiments of the present invention provide a control channel transmission method, device and communication system, wherein the communication system includes a terminal device and a base station, wherein the base station is configured to transmit the control channel in the control channel resource, and to indicate the control channel resource to the terminal device; the terminal device is configured to determine the control channel resource, and to detect the control channel in the determined control channel resource. By embodiments of the present invention, the user of a narrow bandwidth can operate on a wide bandwidth carrier effectively.
