PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner that can efficiently detect leakage of a refrigerant.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: a heat exchanger 2 including a pipe 13 through which a refrigerant having a higher specific gravity than that of air is passed; a drain pan 5 arranged below the heat exchanger 2; and a sensor 50 that detects leakage of the refrigerant. The drain pan 5 comprises a guide part 54 formed at a predetermined position of the outer periphery of the drain pan 5.
